About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide appropriate medical review of employee self-certifying electronic medical questionnaires
  • Contact and question employees to obtain necessary information
  • Determine if additional information is needed
  • Collect information for further review
  • Support candidate Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) cases
  • Conduct records-based fitness for duty evaluations (FFD) and FMLA reviews
  • Document process in the medical records system
  • Make recommendations for improving process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must possess an unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Virginia
  • BSN or MSN qualified
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Occupational Health preferred
  • Must not have been convicted of any crime other than a minor traffic violation
  • Must be able to obtain a minimum National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check
  • Able to favorably pass a preliminary background check
  • U.S Citizenship required
