About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform
Developing and maintaining automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform
Collaborating with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using a variety of technologies including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell
Testing and validating automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects
Tracking the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Generally has 5 years of related experience
An Active Final TOP SECRET clearance is needed prior to starting
Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570/8140 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix
Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment
