About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform
  • Developing and maintaining automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Collaborating with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
  • Designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions using a variety of technologies including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell
  • Testing and validating automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects
  • Tracking the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Generally has 5 years of related experience
  • An Active Final TOP SECRET clearance is needed prior to starting
  • Candidate must obtain a DOD 8570/8140 certification such as Security+ CE or equivalent within three months of starting
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
  • Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
  • Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment
