About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and utilize simulations and models
Evaluate tools, technologies, architectures, models, and test results
Head meetings regarding AI with external parties and internal business-embedded innovation teams
Collaborate with lead engineers to define subsystem requirements and acceptance criteria
Design, develop, test, and maintain artificial intelligence (AI) systems and applications
Implement machine learning models using programming languages such as Python, R, Java, JavaScript, or C++
Collaborate with data scientists to develop algorithms for training AI models
Conduct research on new technologies in AI
Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency
Integrate AI solutions into various software applications or platforms
Collaborate with teams to ensure successful deployment of AI projects
Ensure AI systems are secure, reliable, and adhere to ethical guidelines
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in AI development
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers or interns
Document code, models, and processes for future reference

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related technical field
1 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
Current U.S. Citizenship
DoD Secret security clearance
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills
