About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

create and maintain custom developed solutions
supporting ICAM’s IdMAX (Identity Management and Access Exchange), NAMS (NASA Access Management), custom container applications, and integrations
understanding functional and technical system requirements
designing and implementing applications
handling deployments
working closely with the operational support team on testing, troubleshooting, and providing Tier 3 operational support as needed for delivered solutions
working under the general supervision of the development lead
working in an agile team environment

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA Degree in Computer Science preferred but other IT-related degrees considered
Junior to Mid – Less than 4 years of related work experience
solid skills in designing, developing, and supporting of enterprise-level solutions in a heavily Java-centric environment
Java
Spring/Spring Boot
Web Development technologies (HTML, Bootstrap UI, Javascript and Javascript-related libraries, JSON, JSPs, REST/SOAP Web Services, XML, Thymeleaf, etc)
SQL and relational database design (primarily MS SQL Server)
MyBatis
Maven
Git / GitLab
Familiarity with container platforms (such as RedHat OpenShift) and related technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc)
Familiarity with CI / CD delivery pipelines
Proficiency in IDE of choice (Eclipse, InteliJ, etc)
