About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver distinct elements of projects and contribute to overall programmes of work
  • Work independently on defined tasks and outputs
  • Support effective planning, reporting, controls and stakeholder coordination
  • Assist in producing project plans and schedules
  • Coordinate project information including actions, risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables
  • Collate and interpret data for project plans, schedules and reporting outputs
  • Analyse project data and trends and develop practical recommendations
  • Monitor project financial information and identify anomalies or discrepancies
  • Support day-to-day commercial administration, including tracking changes, assumptions/exclusions and basic contract communications
  • Monitor and evaluate project management processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Complete complex professional tasks and prioritise workload
  • Liaise with stakeholders and provide advisory support to internal clients
  • Communicate with colleagues and stakeholders to support alignment between policy and operational practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
  • Relevant experience supporting large and/or complex projects
  • Good communication skills and confidence working with data, reporting and project control systems
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems
  • Working towards a relevant professional certification or chartered status is desirable
