About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver distinct elements of projects and contribute to overall programmes of work
- Work independently on defined tasks and outputs
- Support effective planning, reporting, controls and stakeholder coordination
- Assist in producing project plans and schedules
- Coordinate project information including actions, risks, issues, dependencies and deliverables
- Collate and interpret data for project plans, schedules and reporting outputs
- Analyse project data and trends and develop practical recommendations
- Monitor project financial information and identify anomalies or discrepancies
- Support day-to-day commercial administration, including tracking changes, assumptions/exclusions and basic contract communications
- Monitor and evaluate project management processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Complete complex professional tasks and prioritise workload
- Liaise with stakeholders and provide advisory support to internal clients
- Communicate with colleagues and stakeholders to support alignment between policy and operational practice
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Relevant experience supporting large and/or complex projects
- Good communication skills and confidence working with data, reporting and project control systems
- Proficiency in relevant software and systems
- Working towards a relevant professional certification or chartered status is desirable
