About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks
Oversee drilling for soil sampling and groundwater well installation
Conduct groundwater sampling
Oversee subcontractors
Operate and maintain remediation systems
Conduct vapor intrusion and soil gas surveys
Prepare subcontracts and oversee subcontractor work
Write and prepare technical reports, work plans, letters, and memoranda
Coordinate tasks, compile and interpret data, prepare cost estimates and health and safety plans
Conduct regulatory file reviews and proposal writing
Develop project strategies and manage schedules and budgets
Establish subcontracts
Conduct soil, groundwater, and/or vapor sampling
Communicate with clients
Perform regional business travel 1–2 days per week on average and occasional U.S. travel for up to two weeks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, or closely related field (i.e., environmental science, physical science)
Valid driver's license
Strong written and oral communication skills
Self-motivated with independent thinking
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team setting, independently, and remotely
Adaptable and creative problem-solving ability
Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (preferred)
Master of Science degree in Geology or closely related field (preferred)
