About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead transit technology and operations projects
  • Lead projects and staff working on transit technology and operations initiatives
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and the project team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Translate client business challenges and requirements into project scope, delivery strategies, and outcomes
  • Lead client progress meetings and provide updates on project status, milestones, deliverables, risks, and changes
  • Proactively address project issues to maintain client satisfaction
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to transit and mobility technology professionals
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, engineering, implementation, testing, and deployment of transit and mobility technology solutions
  • Support organizational change management and business process transformation initiatives
  • Apply emerging technologies to transportation and mobility challenges
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions
  • Develop and deliver presentations and technical materials
  • Review contractor proposals and design documentation for compliance
  • Contribute to project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates
  • Maintain client relationships and support new business pursuits
  • Identify opportunities, prepare proposals, attend client meetings, and support interviews and presentations
  • Support strategic planning and business expansion in the US Intelligence practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Professional Engineering designation and/or PMP certification is preferred
  • Degree from an accredited University in Engineering or related technology fields with a focus on Transportation and Transit is preferred
  • Electrical and civil engineers are also encouraged to apply
  • 7+ years of professional experience required
  • Experience in Transit and Transportation Technologies is preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills demonstrable through previous work experience
  • Located in the Pacific Standard Time zone
  • Able to travel to Southern California and other California offices and client locations as needed
