About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist internal, external, and stakeholder teams with construction documents for site development, water resources, and/or civil projects
  • Serve as a technical resource, providing guidance on technical processes
  • Represent Arcadis to external teams and stakeholders
  • Establish positive stakeholder relationships through effective communication, technical guidance, and project methodologies
  • Organize project structures and processes, including staff planning, quality controls, design oversight, and project budgets
  • Oversee and prepare construction documents, calculations, and reports for public or private clients
  • Ensure quality controls and professional standards are met
  • Provide training, mentoring, and supervision when necessary
  • Motivate team members to meet goals and objectives
  • Manage budgets for large projects or tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PE Civil Engineer
  • 3 or more years of experience in land and/or site development projects
  • Experience in the Civil/Land Development sector, including single-site and municipal-type projects
  • Experience developing construction documents for public sector clients, including cities, counties, and water districts
  • Strong consulting skills, including project management and senior-level client relationship management
  • Professional experience leading Civil Engineering teams and building cohesive project cultures
  • Proficiency developing project plans for complex civil engineering challenges while maintaining budgetary constraints
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
  • MicroStation experience considered an asset
