About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct soil, groundwater, air, and environmental media sampling in compliance with State and Federal regulations
  • Oversee field investigations and drilling operations, including monitoring well installation, soil borings, logging, and site characterization
  • Implement and support remedial systems and technologies, including in-situ treatment methods and groundwater recovery system operation and maintenance
  • Manage subcontractors and maintain detailed field documentation
  • Coordinate with project teams, clients, colleagues, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution
  • Serve as a professional client representative while adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards at industrial and hazardous sites
  • Manage and evaluate environmental data, including compilation, analysis, and quality control
  • Prepare technical reports, work plans, letters, memoranda, figures, maps, and boring logs
  • Develop cost estimates and proposals for project planning and business development
  • Coordinate project schedules and communications to meet objectives and deadlines

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Geology, Geosciences, or Environmental Science
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Current valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and for extended periods
  • Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working alone at remote sites
  • Ability to routinely pass background checks and drug screenings, including hair testing
  • Preferred: Current OSHA HAZWOPER 40 HR / 8 HR training
  • Preferred: Previous industry, consulting, or regulatory internship experience
  • Preferred: TWIC card
