About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Perform engineering evaluations, feasibility studies, master plans, alternatives analyses, and preliminary and final designs
- Prepare technical reports, design calculations, plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates
- Support treatment projects through process evaluations, optimization studies, PFAS investigations and treatment solutions, pilot testing, regulatory compliance assessments, and implementation planning
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams and support project managers with scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Assist with permitting, regulatory coordination, construction administration, and startup activities
- Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, conduct site visits, and support commissioning
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, business development, proposal preparation, and periodic travel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related field
- EIT Certification or Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Prior experience or training with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Project leadership experience, including managing project delivery expectations, prioritizing tasks, and mentoring
- Client management skills, including proposal development and client relationship building
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
