About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach and develop team members to share knowledge and improve service delivery
- Monitor and review team member performance and behaviour, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and codes of conduct
- Develop Arcadis Cost Assurance systems and processes using industry best practice
- Lead and manage multiple cost assurance assignments from inception to completion
- Manage teams and resources to meet client cost, time and quality expectations
- Create project costings and budgets
- Manage finances across multiple projects to meet profit and budgetary targets and achieve best-value outcomes
- Assure contract compliance regarding project delivery parameters and scope of service
- Manage client relationships and identify future opportunities
- Seek new client and workstream generation
- Support internal and external marketing and development of the CCA service line
- Manage key stakeholders and their expectations through regular communications
- Present final reports and recommendations to clients and contractors
- Analyse cost data against contractual and commercial principles
- Appraise cost and commercial management systems and processes
- Travel to different sites and locations nationally and internationally
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant professional experience delivering medium to large projects across multiple market sectors
- Relevant consultancy and advisory experience
- Extensive knowledge and competence in construction contracts, preferably NEC3 / NEC4 Option C (Target Cost)
- Knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing and data enrichment techniques
- Demonstrable experience developing and generating new clients and workstreams
- Experience managing people and motivating others on complex programmes
- Experience creating, developing and managing client relationships at all levels, including becoming a trusted advisor
- Experience identifying and assessing risks in project environments
- Ability to maintain high standards of work and meet deadlines under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at varying levels of seniority
- Ability to grasp high-level concepts and work comfortably with less structured tasks
- Ability to demonstrate output thinking from the outset
- Ability to lead by example, adapt to client requirements at short notice and travel throughout the UK and abroad
- Significant technical knowledge and experience in the relevant field
