About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Annual Compensation Review process across South and East Europe
  • Support delivery of the EU Pay Transparency Directive across the region, including pay equity analysis, job architecture, pay range alignment, regulatory reporting and Works Council engagement
  • Own priority reward deliverables, anticipate risks and build relationships with leadership and People teams
  • Update compensation policies and procedures
  • Analyse local compensation and benefits plans, regulations and operational processes
  • Maintain and analyse pay ranges and conduct benchmarking
  • Maintain bonus participant lists and issue appropriate letters
  • Participate in regional and local Performance & Rewards projects
  • Provide Performance & Rewards advice and governance support
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, People Services, Talent Acquisition and the wider People team
  • Monitor local reward market developments and adopt relevant best practice
  • Support vendor management for local benefit providers
  • Support Performance & Rewards communications
  • Implement and update compensation and benefits policies and processes
  • Support effective use of digital compensation and benefits tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • In-depth experience as a compensation and benefits specialist in an international business environment
  • Direct experience in at least one, preferably more, of Spain/Portugal, Poland, Romania, Italy and Serbia
  • Experience supporting pay transparency initiatives
  • Knowledge of the EU Pay Transparency Directive and its impact on reward processes, pay structures and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced reward environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work through ambiguity and influence stakeholders
  • Experience working in an organisation undergoing change
  • Reward and industry benchmarking experience in one or more SEE countries
  • Process- and operations-oriented approach with strong attention to detail and quality
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret and analyse large, complex and challenging reward data
  • International experience across industries, business lines or functions in Reward or People Services
  • Confidence bringing new ideas to stakeholders
  • Technology confidence and comfort using digital tools
