About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare the project budget together with the design team and the client’s representative
- Monitor and prepare cost estimates and cost calculations
- Review and approve the monthly billings from executing contractors
- Prepare and monitor cost reports
- Prepare pre-contract cost estimates and project cash flows—from feasibility estimates to detailed cost plans and cost audits
- Prepare plausibility checks/validations of cost proposals produced by third parties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in real estate management, engineering, economics, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in cost management before and after contract award
- Solid experience with complex national and international industrial construction projects, preferably in building and industrial construction
- Technical knowledge in quantity surveying (Aufmaß), cost estimating, structural/construction engineering, contracts, and construction law
- Knowledge of cost planning standard DIN 276
- Confident and comprehensive command of MS Office standard programs
- Structured, independent and proactive working style
- Analytical mindset and careful, organized work even under deadline pressure
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Diplomatic skills and professional demeanor
- Proficient in AHO, HOAI and VOB
- Experience with international delivery models such as EPCM, EPC, etc.
- Willingness to travel
- Very good German and English language skills
- High willingness to travel
