About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare detailed engineering drawings and documentation for civil infrastructure and stormwater drainage systems
Develop 3D models using Civil 3D and OpenRoads
Support engineers in design and delivery of projects across various sectors
Produce accurate technical documentation that supports design and delivery process
Translate engineers’ design sketches into precise technical drawings and 3D models
Assist with quantity take-offs and provide basic cost estimation support
Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and drafters to resolve design conflicts and maintain organized drawing records
Participate in project meetings and design reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Civil Engineering
4+ years’ experience in civil design, with a focus on drainage or linear infrastructure projects
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Revit, and related design/drafting software
Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic design principles and stormwater modeling concepts
Knowledge of relevant local and provincial design standards (or equivalent)
Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering sketches and specifications
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Experience with GIS, 1D, 2D, and 3D design and modeling
