About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for QAPP preparation (UFP and text base) and DQO development
- assessment of usability of data (verification/validation) of environmental data produced from the analysis of environmental samples
- assist project teams with trouble shooting sampling and analysis issues
- responsible for coordination/performing initial verification/validation, final report preparation, data usability summary report
- assisting with data management of the final data qualifiers applied to the reviewed data
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS degree in Chemistry
- 7 or more years of relevant science experience, including supervision of elements of large, complex projects
- Professional accreditation (e.g. PG, CIH, CHMM) status or equivalent
- MS degree preferred
- An understanding of various government, commercial, and state EDD formats (e.g., SEDD, ERPIMS. EnviroData, NJ Hazsite, NYSDEC)
- Experience with ADR software (DQM,ADR.NET, FUDSCHEM) and developing electronic QAPPs (eQAPPs)
- Laboratory experience as an environmental analytical Chemist specializing in analysis such as GC analysis of organochlorine pesticides and PCBs, GCMS of volatile or semi-volatile organic compounds, ICP or ICPMS of metals, HRGC/HRMS of Dioxins, and/or LC/MS/ MS of PFAS preferred.
