Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for QAPP preparation (UFP and text base) and DQO development
assessment of usability of data (verification/validation) of environmental data produced from the analysis of environmental samples
assist project teams with trouble shooting sampling and analysis issues
responsible for coordination/performing initial verification/validation, final report preparation, data usability summary report
assisting with data management of the final data qualifiers applied to the reviewed data

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS degree in Chemistry
7 or more years of relevant science experience, including supervision of elements of large, complex projects
Professional accreditation (e.g. PG, CIH, CHMM) status or equivalent
MS degree preferred
An understanding of various government, commercial, and state EDD formats (e.g., SEDD, ERPIMS. EnviroData, NJ Hazsite, NYSDEC)
Experience with ADR software (DQM,ADR.NET, FUDSCHEM) and developing electronic QAPPs (eQAPPs)
Laboratory experience as an environmental analytical Chemist specializing in analysis such as GC analysis of organochlorine pesticides and PCBs, GCMS of volatile or semi-volatile organic compounds, ICP or ICPMS of metals, HRGC/HRMS of Dioxins, and/or LC/MS/ MS of PFAS preferred.
