About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Form an integral part of the Global Excellence Centre (GEC).
  • Contribute to the development of workplace test fits, space planning studies, and layout solutions.
  • Deliver accurate, efficient, and code-compliant planning solutions within tight timelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including MEP and cost consultants.
  • Prepare blocking, stacking, and detailed layout plans to support feasibility studies and client presentations.
  • Analyze headcount data, departmental adjacencies, and workflow requirements to translate program needs into space solutions.
  • Ensure layouts comply with relevant building codes, life safety requirements, and ADA regulations.
  • Coordinate with MEP disciplines to ensure proposed layouts are technically feasible.
  • Prepare area calculations, furniture layouts, and basic schedules to support cost planning.
  • Review own drawings carefully prior to submission to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Support senior team members during client presentations and internal reviews.
  • Collaborate effectively with regional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Contribute to improving workflows, including digital tools and automation initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Workplace design.
  • Solid experience in test-fitting, blocking, and space planning.
  • Ability to produce accurate test fits within tight deadlines (24–48 hours preferred).
  • Proficiency in Revit is required.
  • Familiarity with 3D visualization tools such as SketchUp or Enscape is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of commercial building codes, ADA requirements, and space standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maximize space efficiency within constraints.
  • Good coordination skills with MEP and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including digital workflows, automation, and AI enables planning tools.
