Assessing, developing, and supporting various consulting initiatives by performing tasks such as business process mapping, requirements gathering, data analytics, and facilitating workshops.
Collaborating with teams and stakeholders to understand and document requirements, delivering solutions including reports and visualizations as needed.
Supporting the design and implementation of enterprise data governance solutions that enable the rollout of analytics and artificial intelligence tools.
Collecting, organizing, and analyzing large datasets to derive valuable insights by identifying trends, patterns, and correlations within the data.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with strong emphasis or minor on Computer or Data Science.
Master of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer (preferred).
Experience with tools for data analysis (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R).
Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, Oracle).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Exposure to programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or C#) and software development lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, DevOps).
Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate stakeholder engagements.
Internship or relevant consulting experience in utilities, engineering, or data-driven fields.
Experience in the water industry (e.g., water, wastewater, or stormwater utilities) or a strong interest in applying engineering and analytics skills to this sector is highly desirable.
