About the role

  • Utilize expertise and technical knowledge to execute a variety of water projects
  • Manage design teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Drive client development and strategic positioning
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations for projects
  • Collaborate on defining project scopes and fee estimates
  • Manage risks and assemble high-performing project teams
  • Lead clients through water management and climate adaptation planning processes
  • Understand local and statewide regulations regarding water quality, flood, and shoreline
  • Ensure adherence to budgets and schedules while guiding project teams
  • Regularly interact with clients to identify their needs and provide effective solutions
  • Support development of junior engineers and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 5 years of related industry experience in the water/climate adaptation field
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferred)
  • 10 years of water/climate adaptation industry-related experience (preferred)
  • PE License in California (preferred)
