About the role
- Utilize expertise and technical knowledge to execute a variety of water projects
- Manage design teams and mentor junior engineers
- Drive client development and strategic positioning
- Create compelling proposals and presentations for projects
- Collaborate on defining project scopes and fee estimates
- Manage risks and assemble high-performing project teams
- Lead clients through water management and climate adaptation planning processes
- Understand local and statewide regulations regarding water quality, flood, and shoreline
- Ensure adherence to budgets and schedules while guiding project teams
- Regularly interact with clients to identify their needs and provide effective solutions
- Support development of junior engineers and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of related industry experience in the water/climate adaptation field
- Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferred)
- 10 years of water/climate adaptation industry-related experience (preferred)
- PE License in California (preferred)
