About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist Project Managers and Task Managers in planning and executing environmental site characterization, investigation, and remediation tasks.
Conduct fieldwork; including collection and documentation of soil, air/vapor, groundwater, and surface water samples.
Oversee subcontractors, including drilling operations and installation of groundwater wells.
Conduct remedial system operation and maintenance checks, facility inspections, and soil gas surveys.
Provide emergency response support for environmental sample planning, state/federal regulator correspondence, and onsite contractor oversight.
Write and prepare technical reports, work plans, and letters.
Perform office work including task coordination, data analysis, proposal development, and project strategy development.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, or closely related field (i.e., environmental science, physical science)
2 years of relevant work experience highlighted in your resume
Master of Science degree in Geology or closely related field (preferred)
Current OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (preferred)
Experience supervising environmental drilling (preferred)
