About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support to Arcadis project teams needing geophysical services
  • Assisting and leading geophysical professionals in tasks such as data pre-processing, data manipulation, graphical renditions, and data modeling
  • Working professionally and effectively with internal project teams and their clients
  • Researching professionally published papers in scientific journals to assist geophysical professionals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysics, Geophysical Engineering, or Geological Engineering (with significant geophysics course work)
  • Familiarity with geophysical data analysis and interpretation for projects potentially including, but not exclusively, electromagnetic, magnetic, ground penetrating radar, electrical resistivity, induced polarization, seismic refraction, MASW/ReMi, and borehole geophysical data sets
  • Demonstrable ability to setup, operate, and troubleshoot geophysical data collection activities
  • Technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant coursework or work experience with required fieldwork
  • Capable of working independently and in teams to efficiently complete assignments and require minimal supervision in completion of daily tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 10+ years of experience in applied geophysics
