About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing and managing all aspects of port and marine projects
Strategic planning, coordination, and execution of projects
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Lead and manage project teams, including internal staff and external contractors
Liaise with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and address conflicts
Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring project completion within the allocated budget
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field
Extensive experience in project management, particularly in the ports and marine sector with Ports Authorities in Canada
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management software and tools
Knowledge of maritime regulations and safety standards
