About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams regarding site assessment, permitting, and environmental documentation service needs related to environmental remediation projects.
  • Actively lead and coordinate field investigations, sampling activities, pilot programs, and full-scale remedial efforts.
  • Foster effective communication by engaging in meetings with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide senior level quality assurance/quality control for client deliverables.
  • Coordinate additional project services including remediation system design, implementation, operation, and various civil engineering components.
  • Support and/or manage the growth of new and existing client relationships with business development and account leaders.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or similar related discipline.
  • 10 years of total experience in the environmental consulting industry.
  • 5 years of experience managing environmental permitting projects, technical teams, schedules/budgets, and the delivery of high-quality work products.
  • 2 years of experience leading project pursuits, including direct client communication and preparation of project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with federal, state, and local natural resource permitting agencies.
  • Ability to lead the delivery of projects, ensuring client satisfaction, effective project management, and good communication with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent technical writing and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with company leadership, staff, and client colleagues.
  • Involvement in client development and leadership, including sourcing of project opportunities and direct client relationships.
