About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate, plan, design and support management of projects for water / wastewater treatment and conveyance
- Exercise judgment on details of work and make preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
- Complete technical reports with guidance from senior team members
- Conduct fieldwork activities such as site visits, construction inspection, sampling, water quality analyses, asset inventory
- Support professional engineering services during construction
- Manage tasks as a project resource, meeting budget, timeframe and quality objectives
- Carry out investigations and analyses to support the development of technical solutions
- Prepare documentation and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with Arcadis requirements and relevant national standards and codes of practice
- Liaise with project managers/team leaders and clients for effective communication on project matters
- Contribute to the resolution of technical issues on projects and provide guidance to team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate area of engineering
- 4 years’ of experience in engineering AND PE License
- Detail oriented with knowledge of relevant national standards and codes of practice
- Ability to provide technical guidance.
- Advanced research, data gathering, technical writing and analysis skills
- Developing skills including technical, project management, relationship management, sector expertise and commercial awareness
- Work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, time management and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with the ability to commute to project sites.
