About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for the electrical design and coordination of various projects focusing on medium and low voltage power distribution, motor controls, lighting, and grounding for water/wastewater projects
provide leadership, technical knowledge, and guidance to electrical staff
manage projects/tasks budgets and delivery schedules
balance team workload for multiple assignments
support business development and prepare scopes, schedules, and budget for new projects
work in multi-discipline teams
establish design criteria and perform design calculations
conduct field inspections and oversee projects in construction
perform system analysis using ETAP, SKM Power Tools or other power systems analysis software
collaborate with practice leadership and participate in regional/national conferences

Requirements

What you’ll need

at least 12 years of relevant work experience
hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
possess a Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida
solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code – NFPA 70
understanding of AutoCAD
proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Sharepoint, Word, Excel, MS Project, and Outlook
performance-driven
ability to mentor and manage junior/staff engineers on multiple concurrent projects
