About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Overseeing the integration, operation, and maintenance of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and associated network devices
Managing a team responsible for the configuration, installation, and upkeep of critical communications infrastructure
Supervising staff in troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure optimal connectivity and system performance across the assigned region.
Managing traffic signal operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and integration with ITS for improved traffic flow and safety.
Coordinating system upgrades and maintenance schedules to minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency.
Overseeing project estimating for ITS and traffic signal projects, including cost analysis, resource allocation, and timeline development.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical protocols for all ITS and traffic signal operations.
Providing technical guidance and training to team members, fostering professional development and high-quality service delivery.
Liaising with stakeholders and vendors to support seamless ITS integration, traffic signal enhancements, and ongoing system improvements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
15 years' experience in ITS device integration, traffic signal operations, and project estimation preferred
Proven leadership abilities with a track record of guiding teams to achieve project goals in a safe and effective manner.
Commitment to safety, with comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols relevant to outdoor and roadway environments.
Willingness and flexibility to travel throughout the Southeast United States, including assignments on major transportation routes and in various outdoor conditions.
Technical expertise in CCTV systems, communications network infrastructure, and electrical systems, supporting a wide range of ITS and traffic signal projects.
Hands-on experience with Intelligent Transportation System devices, such as Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), Dynamic Messaging Signs (DMS), Vehicle Detection Devices, and related technologies.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure effective project delivery and ongoing system improvements.
