About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop process automation solutions using the Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI), integrating other technologies and languages when necessary, aiming for stable, reliable, and effective solutions;
Structure, model, and organize data stores (SQL, SharePoint, files, and other sources), ensuring standardization, consistency, and data quality;
Develop and maintain data processing and transformation workflows (ETL/Power Query), ensuring integrity and reliability for dashboard consumption;
Use Python or R with Power BI for data cleansing, standardization, analysis, and manipulation, supporting the construction of more robust and scalable solutions;
Work on integrating multiple data sources, ensuring consistency across systems and structuring data for analytical consumption;
Support the definition and maintenance of indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment between business rules and available data;
Provide support and maintenance for previously developed apps, automated flows, and dashboards;
Actively contribute to continuous improvement processes, proposing optimizations for automations, apps, and data models;
Collaborate with other developers and analysts to enhance solutions, define development best practices, and structure apps and automations;
Gather requirements from users, understand business needs, and identify new features and automation opportunities;
Keep technical documentation for apps, flows, integrations, and dashboards organized and up to date;
Provide end-user support, assisting with incident resolution and proper use of the developed solutions;
Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools, features, and best practices, as well as integrations and services that contribute to the evolution of digital solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Required academic background: Degrees in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar are most aligned with this role, but all backgrounds are welcome.
English level: Intermediate; Spanish: Basic
Knowledge of specific software: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, as well as development support tools such as Figma and other tools commonly used in development, documentation, and version control workflows, including integrations with SharePoint, SQL, and Power Platform connectors.
Expected knowledge of SQL databases, including structuring, querying, data manipulation, and integration.
Technical skills: Theoretical and practical knowledge of the Power Platform, with a focus on Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI; experience in front-end and back-end application development, including building interfaces in Power Apps, business logic, automations, integrations, and data consumption; SQL database expertise, including query construction, data manipulation, and integration between sources; experience in data modeling and structuring for analysis and building dashboards in Power BI; knowledge of Python or R applied to data and integration with Power BI; understanding of programming logic, algorithms, and data structures as applied to information modeling and automations; knowledge of Power Platform connectors, expressions, and functions, as well as integrations with external services, APIs, and data sources; problem-solving skills, logical and analytical thinking for diagnosing and correcting issues in apps, flows, and reports; collaborative profile with strong verbal and written communication skills, working closely with technical teams and business areas.
Preferred/bonus qualifications: Knowledge of HTML; experience with version control and collaboration tools such as GitHub; familiarity with prototyping and design tools such as Figma; basic knowledge of Azure or cloud services.
