Staff Transportation Maintenance Engineer
ArcadisStaff Transportation Maintenance Engineer assisting in design and development of highway resurfacing projects. Collaborating with Project Manager and engineers in the Atlanta office.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- assist in the development and design of infrastructure projects for highway/interstate resurfacing and striping
- perform different roles on multi-disciplined projects
- assist Project Manager and lead engineers
- develop project scopes and budgets
- interface with and maintain client needs for the Project Manager
- develop project resurfacing and striping plans
- maintain project schedules and ensure compliance with all Arcadis and Client practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineer or similar
- EIT with the ability to obtain PE within two-three years from date of hire is preferred
- Engineering experience with infrastructure design and construction engineering
- Proficiency with CAD particularly AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads and CAiCE
- Familiarity with GDOT design standards and policies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
