Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and create civil design drawings for a variety of water, wastewater, stormwater, and site civil projects.
Prepare detailed civil designs and technical drawings using CAD software.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and drafting team members.
Assist with design oversight, ensuring designs comply with project specifications and timelines.
Conduct quality control checks on plans and drawings.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders throughout the design process.
Mentor junior drafters by guiding them in setting up design files.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8 years of experience in civil drafting or design in either water, wastewater, stormwater, and/or site civil infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Familiarity with pipe networks, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and grading (preferred).
Certification in CAD or civil design software a plus (preferred).
