About the role

  • Support the development and execution of project plans in alignment with the master project schedule and key milestones.
  • Track task progress to ensure timely completion and highlight deviations from planned timelines.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams, construction managers, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and transparent communication.
  • Facilitate meetings and follow-ups to address coordination issues and keep all parties informed.
  • Monitor project execution to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Assist in conducting and reviewing daily site inspections, safety checklists, and incident reports.
  • Prepare and compile detailed monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual progress reports for submission to the project owner, highlighting project performance, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, including technical documentation, contractor submittals, and billing information.
  • Support the administration of construction contracts, including tracking deliverables, reviewing invoices, and assisting in change order processing.
  • Assist with contractor payment applications, budget tracking, and financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of relevant project management experience in tunnel, rail, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Primavera P6, MS Project) and document control platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience preparing formal reports and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety, quality, and compliance frameworks in heavy civil construction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
