About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide national perspective to understand current conditions, emerging client needs, regulatory drivers, technology advancements and other factors influencing the market.
- Collaborate with global, national and regional leaders to develop and implement strategic plans to grow Arcadis’s Resilience Water Planning Practice.
- Contribute to innovative approaches and lead development of value propositions to accelerate growth of our Resilience Water Planning programs.
- Support planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure, including advanced water recycling facilities, groundwater systems, and distribution networks.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams, supporting coordination with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Prepare technical memoranda, engineering reports, and design documentation for water treatment, reuse, and conveyance projects.
- Provide construction-phase services, including submittal and RFI review, field coordination, and design support to ensure alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Assist with water quality analysis, process evaluation, and system performance monitoring to support regulatory compliance and operational optimization.
- Support development of scopes of work, cost estimates, and procurement packages for capital improvements and maintenance programs.
- Apply hydraulic modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, EPANET, ArcGIS) to evaluate system performance and inform engineering decisions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
- 8 years of experience
- Broad understanding of water resilience principles, regulations, and best practices
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress
- Ability to work effectively in a team with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills, excellent at building both internal and client relationships
