About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Actively participate in field investigations, sampling activities, and construction oversight
Operation and maintenance oversight for remediation systems
Soil and groundwater investigation and sample collection
Site characterization and feasibility studies
Data compilation, evaluation, and QA/QC
Report writing, permitting, cost estimating support
Coordination with project managers and senior engineering staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an appropriate area of engineering
3 years’ relevant experience in engineering
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Good technical writing skills
Advanced research, data gathering and analysis skills
Effective problem solving skills
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification preferred
May hold or be working towards advanced degree (M.Eng., MS, MBA, etc.) preferred
Knowledge of relevant national standards and codes of practice preferred
OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training preferred
Proficiency in CADD and Civil 3D preferred
Proficiency in GeoStudio, LPile, Prosheet, Shoring Suite, OpenGround preferred
