About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Managing the delivery of projects to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets
Manage the acquisition, deployment and management of resources for the project to ensure optimal resource allocation
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure that all parties are kept informed on all relevant matters impacting and influencing projects
Complete ownership of project performance, service delivery and technical and commercial outcomes
Oversee design projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Work closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s University Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university
15+ years of progressive Project Management experience as well as 10 + years in a Transportation/Transit related discipline
P.Eng. (Eligible for Membership with PEO) preferred
Postgraduate qualifications in business, finance, or project management related areas an advantage
Experience in leading design in a consultant organization
Sound commercial background, including familiarity with contractual conditions and procedures, including international conditions
Experienced in leading, and working with, people from varied backgrounds and cultures
Knowledge of the transit, transportation, urban planning sector
