About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, manage, and support the development of water and wastewater projects.
  • Responsible for managing tasks/projects and clients’ expectations for the planning, design, and construction of distribution/collection systems.
  • Create construction documents, specifications, and handle construction oversight/administration.
  • Work directly with clients to determine needs, develop strategies, and provide solutions.
  • Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle to achieve desired benefits and outcomes.
  • Key player in planning, management, execution, and delivery of planning and design projects.
  • Develop relationships or provide guidance on possible pursuits.
  • Supervise and support the work of others including mentoring junior staff.
  • Involved in grant writing, GIS mapping/analysis.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 years of relevant engineering experience in conveyance system investigations and rehabilitation.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience (preferred).
  • Master's in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
  • Project Management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes (preferred).
  • Client relationships/experience with the local municipalities (preferred).
  • Proficient in ArcGIS Pro (preferred).
  • P.E. License (preferred).
