About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead, manage, and support the development of water and wastewater projects.
Responsible for managing tasks/projects and clients’ expectations for the planning, design, and construction of distribution/collection systems.
Create construction documents, specifications, and handle construction oversight/administration.
Work directly with clients to determine needs, develop strategies, and provide solutions.
Manage client expectations throughout the project lifecycle to achieve desired benefits and outcomes.
Key player in planning, management, execution, and delivery of planning and design projects.
Develop relationships or provide guidance on possible pursuits.
Supervise and support the work of others including mentoring junior staff.
Involved in grant writing, GIS mapping/analysis.

Requirements

What you’ll need

10 years of relevant engineering experience in conveyance system investigations and rehabilitation.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
12+ years of experience (preferred).
Master's in Civil, Environmental, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Project Management experience on municipal water, wastewater, or stormwater projects of various sizes (preferred).
Client relationships/experience with the local municipalities (preferred).
Proficient in ArcGIS Pro (preferred).
P.E. License (preferred).
