About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead design efforts for wastewater treatment process and mechanical design projects
Mentor young engineers and successfully execute projects
Provide leadership, technical knowledge, and experience to develop design team capabilities
Manage delivery teams and build strong client relationships
Supervise and support the work of others
Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards
Travel (up to 20%) to conduct project meetings, site visits, client meetings, and construction oversight/administration

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 10 years of experience in wastewater treatment and design
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, or a related field
Holding a Professional Engineer (PE) License in Florida
Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills
Excellent technical writing abilities
Experience managing the preparation, review, and approval of project drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, permit applications, RFIs, as-built drawings, and other relevant design and construction documents.
Strong client relationship skills
Proven track record of successfully delivering various engineering projects that meet client expectations.
