About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

support a growing base of complex mining, reclamation, restoration, and development projects
engage directly with clients and the regulatory community
serve as a mentor to junior staff
provide technical leadership at all levels of project delivery
work on design analysis, calculation preparation, and review
prepare and review technical advisory roles and report writing
provide construction support and cost estimation
lead teams of engineers in project delivery
analyze documentation to support civil design development
perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and develop stormwater management designs
utilize 3D design software to develop grading and drainage plans
prepare design documentation including drawings and technical specifications
provide senior review of engineering calculation briefs
offer office-based construction support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Minimum 10 years of experience (15 or more preferred)
Prior experience supporting mining projects
Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) with the ability to obtain reciprocity in western states
Proficiency with civil design using computer-based modeling applications (i.e., AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar)
High proficiency with Microsoft Office products
