About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with a dynamic and growing team to support projects through all phases of the site evaluation and remediation life cycle.
- Lead a team of technicians, professionals, and experts to execute work across multiple sites.
- Manage environmental investigation, remediation, reclamation, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Collaborate closely with technical experts, regulators, and clients to address each site’s unique characteristics and challenges.
- Focus on strategic advisory, leadership, and project execution.
- Develop and refine essential project and portfolio management skills within the environmental industry.
- Support project managers on portfolio scope, schedule, and budgets for tasks such as site investigation, site remediation, and other fieldwork.
- Correspond with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to achieve efficient outcomes.
- Stay apprised of changes in regulatory requirements.
- Oversee project financial management and ensure accountability at the portfolio level.
- Ensure timely and quality technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates across the portfolio.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 12+ years of experience in environmental consulting preferred.
- 8+ years of project management experience preferred.
- Experience working with clients in the oil and gas market sector
- Familiarity with site evaluation and restoration within the upstream oil and gas industry, and the associated hazards and controls with execution of work.
- Expertise with Colorado State environmental regulations – Colorado Energy and Carbon Management Commission (ECMC) rules, specifically 900 and 1000 series and associated form submittal process.
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training.
