About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assisting Project Managers (PMs) and Task Managers (TMs) with developing technical scopes of work and cost estimating for proposals on project opportunities.
Perform field work (up to 25%) with a focus on health and safety in various climate and geographies.
Assisting environmental and geotechnical engineering team in evaluations of existing and proposed conditions in modelling software for design and construction.
Assisting team with reduction of field data for engineering evaluations.
Collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines on relevant projects.
Scoping, estimating costs, and performing natural forces assessments on pipelines.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s of Science in Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental or Structural Engineering or Geology or closely related field
2-5 years of experience with strong organizational and team-building skills
EIT Certification (preferred)
MS in Civil, Geotechnical, Environmental or Structural Engineering or Geology or closely related field (preferred)
Relevant coursework in Hydrology, Fluvial Geomorphology and/or Rosgen training courses (preferred)
Experience in Office 365 (e.g., Excel)
Finite-Element Modelling (FEM) programs (e.g., GeoStudio Slope/W and Seep/W) (preferred)
Bentley Systems OpenGround (preferred)
40-hour HAZWOPER (preferred)
