Collaborate within a strong and supportive team environment to deliver innovative solutions for clients
Lead innovative mechanical design and process integration for treatment facilities, reservoirs, and pumping or lift stations
Drive the development of comprehensive construction documents and detailed specifications
Establish the basis of design, complete in-depth calculations, and deliver robust solutions
Perform thorough assessments, meticulously size and select equipment
Develop and evaluate design options with accurate cost estimates
Prepare technical memoranda to document rationale and recommendations
Ensure coordination among various engineering disciplines
Develop process flow narratives and conduct hydraulic analyses
Support business development efforts and contribute to proposals
Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality control reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

B.S. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
10 years of relevant experience in process mechanical engineering for water and wastewater facilities
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of California
Mechanical or Civil P.E. preferred
15+ years of relevant experience in process mechanical engineering for water and wastewater facilities
Proficient in mechanical design standards
Strong working knowledge of CAD and BIM
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
