About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • responsible for planning and managing geotechnical investigations
  • performing desktop analysis of soil and rock properties
  • preparation of detailed geotechnical investigation reports including recommendations in support of electrical infrastructure construction at Sites within ComEd territory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
  • Current Illinois P.E. license or ability to obtain Illinois P.E., license.
  • Current Arcadis CPM designation
  • 7+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering
  • Proficiency with technical report writing
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with client and Arcadis internal client support team.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
