About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- responsible for planning and managing geotechnical investigations
- performing desktop analysis of soil and rock properties
- preparation of detailed geotechnical investigation reports including recommendations in support of electrical infrastructure construction at Sites within ComEd territory
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
- Current Illinois P.E. license or ability to obtain Illinois P.E., license.
- Current Arcadis CPM designation
- 7+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering
- Proficiency with technical report writing
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with client and Arcadis internal client support team.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
