About the role

  • Develop high-quality external content, including case studies, articles, blogs, social media captions, and long-form materials, in line with Arcadis tone of voice and brand guidelines.
  • Support content development for campaigns and global or regional communications initiatives.
  • Conduct research and stakeholder interviews to ensure accuracy, relevance, and completeness of content.
  • Edit and proofread your own work and that of others to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality standards are met.
  • Review content briefs and clarify requirements, timelines, and scope with stakeholders where needed.
  • Manage assigned tasks to ensure timely and accurate delivery of outputs.
  • Conduct quality reviews of assignments completed by the Content Team to maintain consistency and standards.
  • Maintain and update the Content Team’s knowledge database to support continuity and efficiency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to support communication needs and align on messaging requirements.
  • Encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team to strengthen overall capability
  • Contribute to fostering Arcadis’ People First culture through day-to-day interactions and teamwork.
  • Assist in the preparation of team reports when needed.
  • Ensure work / content tracker is accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Maintain regular backups of work files to support data integrity and continuity.
  • Support engagement initiatives and provide additional administrative assistance as required.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and developments, including advancements in AI tools, to enhance content delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and efficiency within the Content Team.
  • Contribute to the evolution of content practices through feedback, insights, and adoption of best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in writing and editing, with a focus on long-form and mass media content development; background in journalism is advantageous.
  • Strong written English skills; a degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint); familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign and Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary civil engineering projects and experience in professional services, consultancy, or construction sector is a plus.
