About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As Senior Team Lead – Email Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing the strategy for Arcadis’ email channel.
  • You will lead and mentor a high-performing email marketing team while collaborating closely with other Digital Team Leads to ensure integrated and effective digital campaigns.
  • Balance hands-on expertise with strategic oversight, ensuring campaigns are data-driven, customer-centric, and fully integrated across marketing channels.
  • Foster innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and measurable business impact.
  • Co-own and jointly develop the Email Channel Strategy in partnership with the Email Marketing Manager.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for Growth Marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and seamless delivery of email marketing campaigns.
  • Design, launch, and continuously optimize demand generation and lead generation email campaigns to drive measurable pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate closely with content, digital, and sales teams.
  • Lead the integration of email campaigns across all marketing channels to deliver a seamless and unified omni-channel experience for clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 8+ years of experience in email marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing teams and/or managers.
  • Proven track record of owning and growing an email channel as a strategic business function, not just a delivery operation.
  • Deep expertise in marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo, or equivalent) and the broader martech ecosystem.
  • Solid technical grounding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript sufficient to evaluate build quality and make informed platform decisions.
  • Proven experience in executive-level reporting; presents channel performance and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strong commercial acumen: experience managing budgets, evaluating tooling investments, and connecting marketing activity to business outcomes.
  • Expert knowledge of email compliance laws (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and deliverability standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) across multiple regions.
  • Demonstrated experience developing other leaders — coaching managers, not just individual contributors.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed marketing organization is strongly preferred.
