About the role

  • Providing quality delivery of the designs using 12D predominately, some Civil 3D experience will be of benefit
  • Successfully manage, plan, resource and complete assigned modelling projects within agreed budgets and deadlines
  • Assisting the Project Manager in determining the drafting & other design resources required for a project plan including elements suitable for outsourcing
  • Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with best practice and any other quality standards dictated by the nature of the project
  • Resolving complex technical drafting and design issues
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with Project Managers, Design Engineers and drafters within other disciplines.

Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering degree and/ or certifications
  • At least 5+ years of demonstrated industry experience in the application of 12D and Civil 3D software using your in-depth knowledge of civil design standards
  • Experience working on Urban Development projects within South East Qld. or Northern NSW
  • Experience using various software programs such as AutoCAD, and 12d Synergy
  • Design knowledge in road design, earthworks (steep site experience valued) / grading design and utilities design (water, sewer, drainage)
  • Excellent client-focus and a sound technical know-how
  • Ability to develop elements of design from concept sketches to detailed drawings
  • A high attention to details and ability to deliver quality output within the timeline.
