About the role
- Leading and supporting the development of resiliency projects focused on urban drainage systems, streams, and rivers.
- Devising and implementing both structural and non-structural mitigation solutions.
- Integrating green and gray infrastructure approaches to enhance stormwater management and flood resilience.
- Managing the planning, design, and construction administration phases of projects.
- Ensuring full compliance with contracts, drawings, specifications, codes, statutes, rules, and regulations.
- Communicating effectively with clients to establish project objectives, coordinate resources, and ensure timely delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years experience.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in Civil, Environmental, or related.
- P.E. license or ability to acquire P.E. licensure in Texas within 6 months.
- 12+ years’ experience preferred.
- Active involvement in local professional organizations, stormwater committees, or green infrastructure groups preferred.
- Responsible Charge (Engineer of Record) or Project Management experience on stormwater projects of various sizes preferred.
