About the role
- evaluate, plan, design, permit and support management of projects for stormwater BMPs and conveyance
- perform, set up, assemble data, and coordinate resources to complete hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and calculations
- support sustainability and resilience projects with stormwater modeling, planning and design
- support preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials
- participate in client meetings
- ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health, and safety standards
- work independently and as part of a team
- learn / use digital tools to enhance customer experience, team and client collaboration, and project delivery
- travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, planning purposes or to oversee construction activities
Requirements
- 7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or a related field of study
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- experience working in a design, consulting engineering, or municipal environment
- demonstrated project leadership capabilities
- managing overall project delivery expectations
- prioritizing tasks
- mentoring team members
- experience with construction observation
- client management experience
- preparing and developing proposals
- building strong client relationships
- proficiency or formal training in AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Master of Science or Master of Engineering degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field (preferred)
