About the role
- Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other tools
- Create look-ahead schedules, baseline updates, and recovery plans
- Perform critical path analysis, time‑impact analyses (TIA), and delay matrices
- Lead progress reporting, schedule variance, and performance monitoring against baseline
- Conduct quantity takeoffs, apply unit rates, and prepare cost estimates aligned with bridge/transit scope
- Manage cost forecasts, budget vs actuals, cash flow and Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses
- Assist in bid preparation, developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), cost coding, and change order documentation
- Align schedules and estimates across engineering, procurement, and construction teams; integrate multidisciplinary inputs
- Facilitate communication and coordination among PMs, engineers, subcontractors, and clients
- Support risk analysis, scenario planning, and cash flow forecasting
- Maintain change control logs, schedule/control registers, and participate in claims or dispute resolution if needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project
- Demonstrated background in bridge or transit infrastructure, heavy civil, or similar complex projects
- Familiar with estimating practices and estimating software
- Experience with schedule development, look-ahead schedules, baseline updates, and recovery plans
- Experience performing critical path analysis, time-impact analyses (TIA), and delay matrices
