About the role

  • manage the full spectrum of the project lifecycle (conceptual-level planning, permitting, detailed design development, and construction support)
  • oversee the development of design calculations, technical report sections, technical design drawings and specifications
  • prepare construction packages for clients
  • develop cost estimates and project schedules
  • supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior-level engineering and design/drafting staff
  • prepare and present project-related information to clients for weekly and monthly progress meetings
  • travel for project site visits, client meetings, or other project-related activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural Engineering or related field.
  • 12 years of relevant engineering project management experience.
  • PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • experience in project management involving design and construction engineering for water and wastewater projects is preferred.
  • demonstrated project leadership experience, having served as a Project Manager, Design Lead, or Technical Lead on projects of varying sizes.
