About the role
- Support environmental or health & safety compliance policies, programs, procedures, and management systems
- Assist program managers performing data analytics to support client project initiatives, data trends and risks
- Assist with site visits, audits, trainings, and meetings
- Review and evaluate regulatory permits and associated documentation
- Assist with development of technical plans (spill prevention control and countermeasure plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans)
- Work independently and with a team to provide clients with EHS&S compliance solutions
- Support Arcadis team members in producing high quality work products for clients
Requirements
- B.S. in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) or related discipline
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in Environmental Health and Safety
- Preferred: Prior internship in the environmental field
- Ability to participate in site visits, audits, trainings, and meetings
- Experience or skills in data collection and data analytics to support project initiatives
- Knowledge of regulatory permits and associated documentation
- Ability to assist in development of technical plans (e.g., SPCC, SWPPP, Phase I ESA, Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
