About the role
- Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects.
- Project roles include planning development; urban and rural roadway design; freeway and interchange design; rights of way coordination and management; and public safety, all with a focus on quality.
- Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development.
- Ability to lead and manage all phases of a project.
- Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, and development of project plans and schedules.
- Assist as needed on other projects assigned and work with other Arcadis offices as needed.
- Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities will include excellent, clear, and concise, oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations.
- Adhere to Arcadis' practices including quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive highway (GDOT or Georgia local municipality) design or project management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Experience working in and leading multi-disciplinary teams
- 10+ years of progressive highway (GDOT or Georgia local municipality) design experience, including 3+ years of PM experience on GDOT projects (preferred)
- Georgia PE license or ability to obtain (preferred)
- PMP (preferred)
- Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations. (preferred)
