About the role
- Leading the development and delivery of traffic signal, signing and pavement marking, roadway illumination, and ITS design.
- Managing and conducting traffic engineering studies.
- Overseeing client and stakeholder coordination, including consensus-building and presentation of technical recommendations.
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to integrate multidisciplinary insights into project plans.
- Supporting business development efforts by strengthening relationships with municipal and TxDOT clients, and contributing to proposal and pursuit activities.
- Helping grow the Texas traffic design practice and mentoring engineers to support their technical and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant traffic engineering and design experience.
- Experience working with municipal clients and TxDOT, including familiarity with their design manuals and project delivery processes.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
