About the role
- The Project Director will ensure projects are managed and delivered profitably, monitor project risks, and implement technical innovations to help our contracting partners win and deliver Design-Build projects. The Project Director will oversee the project team(s) and be responsible for both the tender phase and the detailed design phase. Responsibilities include overseeing the success, management, and mentoring of the practice staff (project managers) to achieve operating metrics including financial performance, strategy development, delivering high-quality projects and work products, technology leadership, and client/account development. Responsible for health and safety stewardship, cross-selling, business development strategies, compliance with company policies and procedures, and training development.
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in similar roles either as Design Director, Technical Director, Project Director with major design firms or contractors managing design delivery on DB Projects or similar.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction, or related field.
- Design/Construction Industry background on large complex projects.
- Professional Engineering License.
